Her work has been performed by the London Session Orchestra and Bratislava, Glasgow, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestras.

Her expertise and research lies in music cognition and supporting clients find music / sound that best serves their intended audience / emotional expectations.

Tess writes and releases records in her spare time.

Cycles

A concert work for orchestra which depends entirely on its performers. There are 28 bars. Those in the ensemble that are 'cycling' or 'menstruate' will start the piece on the bar corresponding to the day they are on in their cycle (i.e day 4 = bar 4). This will ebb and flow alongside those who aren't cycling, who will perform the piece from the start to end (bar 1-28).

The work aims to capture and reflect what a society that cycles might sound like at any given time. Every performance will be unique to those
